G.I. Think it could be interesting if done the right way.

I think it could be a great idea if done in a style more like the original cartoon series, and NOT trying to be a CoD or Battlefield. Like a slightly more serious Team Fortress. Instead of picking classes, you pick characters. Like Tanks would be like Roadblock and Destro as an example. Multiple costumes for each character based on cartoons and comics. The only question is.....Do I use metal face Cobra Commander or Rag...

@ author of the review.

There Their They're

There are three words above.
Their definitions are all completely different.
They're not interchangable.

New rule. You aren't allowed to write or edit anything for public consumption unless you are familiar with all three of those words and their proper usage.
Edit- Oh wait. That's already supposed to be a rule. Hmmmm........

I'll refrain ...

It doesn't even exactly mean the final build of the game.

What it specifically means is that the final build of the game has been burned on to the "Gold disc". WHich is where the term comes from. It goes back to the days when music was on vinyl albums and the original record that all those vinyl copies were pressed from was literally made of gold. (it was only later that gold and platinum album became awards for sales in the music industry)

I always get guides for RPGs I'm excited for. Especially if they have lots of side quest stuff. Not only are they great reading material for the toilet, but in a game like Skyrim they can tell you about alot of stuff you otherwise may have never found. I typically don't use them for character builds, or to get through the main quest. Main quests are usually pretty linear anyway. But in like the case of Oblivion, I probably would have missed a good quarter of the side quests. And Skyri...

What are they saying "new details"? I've seen this product already for sale for a couple/few weeks now at Best Buy in the PS3 section. It's $99. It's pretty nice, but personally I can't stand keyboard controls. I understand the advantage of the mouse over a right stick just for precision. But for every other aspect of control I prefer a controller. I'd take a left analog stick over WASD any day. WHich is why the FragFX is still the best console peripheral if you&...

LOL

Anyway. Does anyone have a youtube link? I'm stuck on the PS3's browser and it doesn't play this video on this site or the source.

I'm in the market right now to upgrade my backwards compatible 60Gb to a Slim model and have been waiting for the best deal. I was about to order this right now because that's friggin awesome. But........CANADA ONLY. Good for the Canucks though. That deal is incredible.

agreed. I've read pretty much all of the 3 hour playthroughs. And the way this person played, he by a large amount saw the most stuff. It was 9 pages, most of the others were one or two. This person got all the way to the ancient dwarven city we've heard about, I don't recall any other preview getting that far. This was the most entertaining as well playing a chaotic evil character just laying waste wherever she went.

I'm SOOO excited to get this game into my ...

I play RAGE on PS3, and I completely agree. RAGE feels completely old-school, and it's the most raw fun I've had with a FPS in a LONG time. When you're out in the Wastelands it kinda has it's own feel. but when I'm in any of the "dungeons", where your mission is kinda "point A to point B" and to just survive, RAGE gives me the same exact feeling and atmosphere of going through levels in the original DOOM. It's often tight with some open areas but al...

I understand that Phil. And I love programming my party members in Dragon Age Origins and being able to get through Nightmare difficulty. But as I said.....nothing's stopping you from still enjoying that because there is no rule that says you HAVE to play co-op. You can still play with your own programmed squad. But for people like me who want to see other people's main characters in my party, and interact with those real people in Dragon Age or for other people: Mass Effect, we shoul...

Disclaimer: I'm not a fan of Mass Effect, so I couldn't care less if it has multi-player co-op or not. Just expressing my own view on the subject of single player games getting multi-player "tacked on".

I know some games are perfectly fine single player experiences. But personally I am NEVER against multi-player being added to a game. Now I'm not a ME fan, but I am a HUGE fan of another BioWare single player game: Dragon Age. More so of Origins than DA2,...

Well I play Gears 1 on PS3 (well, the multi-player portion), leagally, no kind of hacking or whatever involved. Thank you PS3 version of Unreal Tournament 3 and the effort of the PC modding community. So just to shove it in this author's face, technically, with enough effort and talented modders Gears 3 COULD be on PS3, and they wouldn't even need Cliford's permission.

They definitely have the one ripped right out of PSP, which is a bit lame. BUT don't ignore the fact that they didn't ALL look like that. I'm pretty impressed by the fact that this new in car camera system for standard cars DOES take the actual car model into account, and seems to use that car models on screen when applicable. Aside from being not highly detailed, the in-car views from the Caterham (sp?) and that LeMans cars look like properly modeled interiors. Steering wheels a...

Wow....FAIL

GT5's i nterior views DO include the back seats, deck and windows. And when you look back you see it all.

If looking through GT5's windows is like looking through no glass, then why is there rediculous glare when the sun is in fron of you? Another fail.

Lots of gameplay content like Forza? LOL perhaps your biggest fail of all. I play both series and GT5 has FAR more gameplay content than Forza 3.

Oh wait.....

Do you even have GT5? There are multiple premium Supras. Not only from Toyota, but also a few in the custom dealerships.

5239d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I personally couldn't care less about premium cars. I'm all bumper-cam, all the time anyway. Though I kinda would like a set of maybe 3 or 4 diferent in-car views applied to standard car models. Like a luxury one, a sports one, a racing one and a cheap car one.

I CERTAINLY would want weather and night on all courses, and settings for each race to set exactly what you want when it comes to those things.

I would like a HUGE overhaul to the create-a-trac...

That comment and others like it in the article pushing this made up fact that this is somehow going to be iD's first bunch of console fans is hilarious to me since I've almost always been a console only gamer since the Atari days, and I've been a HUGE fan of iD's since the SNES/Genesis days, and so have many of my friends..............Go Figure.

I couldn't decide if the game was worth actually buying. But due to lack of HDD space on my PS3 the 2 PS3 games I got in the welcome back program were Super Star Dust and Dead Nation. Both games would have been well worth actually buying. So much so that I bought the expansion bundle for Super Star Dust to support the game and devs, and I will be doing the same for Dead Nation.

This expansion sounds REALLY kool too. Looking forward to this.
